He is a licensed Attorney-at-Law since 2022, and Certified Public Accountant since 1984. Founder and an executive leader of multiple firms including, NEV Insurance Agency and Consultancy, Inc., Infinitum Agency, Inc. and Varela Law, demonstrating strategic vision, operational excellence, and ethical leadership.
From 1992 to 2013, he served as the President and General Manager of Interbroker Insurance Consultants and Reinsurance Broker, Inc. Prior to that, he held key leadership position at Ultramar Reinsurance Brokers, Inc. from 1981 to 1992 as Finance and Administrative Manager and Chief Accountant. He began his career as a Marine Underwriting Clerk and Internal Auditor for Reinsurance Company of the Orient, Inc.
He served as a Founder and Principal Partner of NEV & Company, Certified Public Accountants from 1994 to 2006. He also maintained longstanding affiliations with numerous organizations which underscores his wide network of people.
